MGMT211: Security Governance and Business Alignment
Description:
The 2-hour, self-paced online course introduces you to information assurance and security concepts and approaches. You will learn about the security triad, common threats and vulnerabilities, and the three types of controls that are implemented to protect the enterprise. You will also learn about the strategy of layered security and be able to classify threats and countermeasures by layer. This course prepares you for more advanced training that assumes a baseline of information security knowledge.
Prerequisite: Employment in an ITS capacity within the MnSCU system.
