The Minnesota State Colleges & Universities, Office of the Chancellor is pleased to announce the renewal of the system-wide agreement for Mathematica 6. This is the second year that the Wolfram Research site license for Mathematica has been made possible by The Office of the Chancellor, IT Division. The exciting news this year is that licenses are now available for full or half-time students for use on their own personal computer. (Win, Mac, or Linux)The unlimited system-wide site license for Mathematica will facilitate student learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with a cutting-edge computational software engine. Mathematica also has powerful built-in statistics packages providing new solutions for economics, finance, and the social sciences.

● Unlimited installation on member campus-owned machines
● Unlimited faculty home use
● Unlimited student personal use
● Technical support
● Software upgrades as they are released

Math Software Survey Summary
Mathematica has millions of users worldwide, including many of the foremost scientists in the world, all Fortune 50 companies, all fifteen major departments of the U.S. government, and all of the worlds fifty largest universities. Hundreds of courses, from high school to graduate school, are based on Mathematica. The latest enhancements will expand the use of Mathematica to an even wider range applications and users. Some MnSCU faculty members have used Mathematica since its first release.
