A message from Steve Cronin
Greetings MnSCU members.
My name is Steve Cronin and I am the Adobe Academic Sales rep for nine states in the upper Midwest. MnSCU has recently purchased an Adobe Contract License which will allow faculty, staff, labs, and departments to purchase Adobe products from EnPointe at the lowest possible prices Adobe offers to educational institutions. This is a two year contract that has certain requirements that must be met in order to continue purchasing at the 65% discount. May you use the Adobe CLP often to fulfill your software needs and to remain compliant. Many thanks to Mark Thomas at MnSCU for working on this contract with Adobe Legal this summer. MnSCU will be linking to www.adobe.com/education website. Everything that you need to know about Adobe Academic products is on that site; brochures, reviews, 30 day free trial versions, info about becoming an Adobe Certified Expert, etc. We have a new 40 hour, modular based, Web Curriculum posted on the site this month (September). It's free. It's based on our Web Collection which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive and LiveMotion. The products you can purchase through the Adobe CLP are standard commercial products, not versions reprogrammed for the educational market. Please use MnSCU, EnPointe, and the Adobe website for finding answers to your Adobe-related questions. I will work through them to service the MNSCU CLP account.
